“My journey in flooring installation began in 2004 when I moved to Minnesota. I was trained in the trade by my brother-in-law and over the years have had additional trainings with contractors I’ve worked for. I started off only installing carpet and sheet vinyl but through the additional trainings, I have gained more expertise in various types of flooring. I operate RJ’s Carpet and Vinyl with the help of my wife, Britni, who is the CEO/Controller, and my mother-in-law who assists her with the accounting. We have four children, one of which who is learning the trade alongside me. Running a business is hard word, but it’s more than a paycheck. We are building a strong legacy for our children.”
